INSANE portions !!! the fish was fresh and the cuts were super thick. service was slow, but they were super busy and small seating area. my favorite was the seared salmon nigiri. would totally come back to order just a big plate of that. honestly, just shocked about the portions because i've never seen a sushi place give that much fish. definitely must try ordered: salmon nigiri seared salmon nigiri sunset roll sabu roll salmon roll broiled hamachi collar

This is, on my opinion, the best sushi in Portland. The food is fresh, high quality, and delicious. The rolls are HUGE so make sure to pace yourself. Also, try to get there early. There is almost always a line.

Food portions were huge for the price! It is a little overwhelming to eat such a large amount of sushi, so make sure to take bites. As a party of 3, we ordered about 3 rolls, one hand roll, calamari and some nigiri. We all finished eating and were stuffed with leftovers for each of us after. The price on sushi here is about the same as other restaurants. Although plating isn't as nice, the quality is still decent and better than most spots! It's a small narrow shop, but they do stay busy so expect a little bit of a wait upon arrival (especially on weekends).

This sushi spot is known for its massive portions. Everything is huge and it's pretty affordable for how much you are getting. The inside is pretty small and there is limited seating. That being said, there will be a line to get in. They open at 5pm and we got there around 4:15 and there already were 2-3 parties waiting. By 5pm there was at least 30 people waiting outside in the rain hoping to get a table. Despite the line the service was pretty quick. I would recommend getting here early to secure a spot in the first batch of people.

Delicious sushi and such large portions too omg! It was a little cold because we were right at the door but besides that, the waiters did a great job bussing and serving so efficiently! It is definitely very busy and you should be prepared to wait unless you get there way before doors open and line up. Overall had a pretty good experience!

If Saburo's is a place you want to try, I highly recommend coming early because there is always a line. I came 20 minutes before opening and there were at least 7-8 parties in front of me. The food is always delicious and portions are insanely huge. The price may seem scary expensive at first, but once you get the place, good luck finishing. The restaurant is very cozy with more room in the back. The bathroom is surprisingly super clean. A thing that I like is that Saburo's only allows you to order once, which makes the food come out faster since people can't keep ordering. Make sure to double check everything you want to order for this reason
